The Admissions Nurse is available to perform professional nursing care activities with persons in the admissions process. The Admissions Nurse seeks consultation with other members of the health team as the patient’s condition and treatment goals warrant.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): facilitating psychoeducational groups, develop behavior management programs, crisis intervention and de-escalation, and providing appropriate therapeutic interventions.

The Support Specialist performs secretarial and unit clerical coordination services for the staff of the program; performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services in caring for intellectual, psychosocial, physical and spiritual needs of patients.

The Patient Care Specialist provides leadership in the facilitation of the treatment process from prior to admission to discharge. She/He monitors the treatment process of both individual and aggregate cases. The Patient Care Specialist acts on behalf of the best interest of patients, their families and Rogers Memorial Hospital to manage risk, ensure quality patient care and cost-quality outcomes. She/He crosses departmental boundaries to address and resolve identified care delivery-problems at Rogers Memorial Hospital.

The Intake Specialist performs the duties of patient administration. She/He collaborates with members of the health care team to promote continuity of care and cost-effective practice patterns. 

The Professional Counselor develops, coordinates and facilitates all direct social services to patients and their families assigned to him/her, provides leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical intervention, and performs duties as directed by the Manager of Social Services.
