Although the current benefit package is very competitive, Rogers Memorial Hospital continually pursues additional benefits to enhance the existing plan. Participation in the benefit programs is contingent on select eligibility requirements for each program.
Employee Share Program - This program rewards employees for the overall performance and results of the hospital. The hospital’s performance is determined by Joint Commission on Accreditation for Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) accreditation, budgetary goals, patient survey rate of return, and the patient survey recommendations rate. Eligible employees must have at least 500 paid hours within the current fiscal year, active employee status at the time of any annual payout, successful annual review and completion of annual and all, employee job and employment requirements.
Day Care Benefit - This unique and innovative program provides the potential of a partial subsidy to employees for their childcare needs. Additionally, the Sniffles & Sneezes Program is provided by Little Dumplings in Oconomowoc as an alternative service for parents with sick children. Expenses not covered by this benefit can be handled through the Flexible Benefits Plan outlined below.
Tuition and Continuing Education Reimbursement - In addition to providing employees with tuition reimbursement for formal credit bearing classes, Rogers Memorial Hospital provides a mechanism for employees to obtain Continuing Education Units by attending appropriate workshops, seminars and certification programs. Many of these opportunities are available on site.
Flexible Benefits/Section 125 Cafeteria Plan - Employees are able to use this plan to set aside pre-tax dollars to cover additional dependent care and medical expenses.
Retirement Plan - The Plan reflects the Hospital’s commitment to our employees, now and in the future. Employees are able to determine how both employee and employer dollars are invested. The Plan is designed to provide control, flexibility and input in how his/ her retirement dollars are invested. Rogers Memorial Hospital will match a percentage of the employee’s invested dollars. There is no waiting period for this benefit.
Employee Assistance Program - The program provides a confidential assessment referral service to assist employees and their family members in identifying and resolving personal challenges.
Comprehensive Insurance Plans - Health, dental, life, long- and short-term disability insurance are available. Additionally, AFLAC® provides supplementary insurance benefits for eligible employees including, but not limited to, cancer, accident and intensive care insurance.
Center for Organizational Advancement - The Center offers employees use of its Ropes and Challenge Course Program for a discounted rate.
Fitness Room - Employees are able to use the Gymnasium Fitness Room during allotted times, free of charge.
Qualified employees are eligible for most benefits the first of the month following sixty days of employment/eligibility. However, please contact a Human Resources Representative for the enrollment date and eligibility criteria for specific benefit lines. Rogers Memorial Hospital reserves the right to modify the benefit plan without prior notification.
Schedule Options
Baylor - weekend 12-hour shifts: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Employees are paid for 72 hours and only work 48 hours. This position offers full benefits.
Pool - as needed. There is no guarantee of hours with this option.
Exempt - salaried position. Normally receive a pre-determined salary each pay date with the exception to work hours necessary to carry out assigned responsibilities.
Non-exempt - hourly position. Weekly hours may vary.
